Kev Lovelady
Founder & Chief Coordinator
Kev would love to bring the relevant ideas, concepts and initiatives from his roles and experiences to a potential “strategic framework” for the benefit of your stakeholders in order to optimise and develop your organisation’s impact to “transform the world into a nicer place”.
He believes passionately in the ethos of developing social value practices and frameworks to meet societal challenges. He has an entrepreneurial spirit to forge sustainable relationships to achieve growth to make a difference and deliver results with creativity and action in a team of like-minded purpose-led enthusiasts.
Having worked as a volunteer, pro-bono digital advisor through to being engaged to work on the digital and back-office systems for a Merseyside-based charity, Kev was asked to take over as operations manager in 2021. Transforming the organisation towards new objectives for contemporary challenges. he strived to refocus the organisation’s governance, effectiveness & growth through capacity-building, business development and stakeholder management to move the charity’s profile and objectives forward after a period of inertia. Evolving the charity’s income development strategy by working towards bringing in fundraising and commissioning to expand its more traditional grant and trading focus, all resulted in a new initiative at futures.org.uk
During this transition period, Kev gained a deeper insight into the social sector and the capabilities required to succeed, his non-third sector experience proving invaluable when reviewing the marketing, operations and digital elements of the organisation. With digital now being essential to any organisation in the 21st century, Kev sees it as key to moving socially trading organisations and social enterprises towards more sustainable practices – practices which may be unexamined but necessary to optimise impact.
As a registered volunteer mentor with the Association of Business Mentors (ABM) on the Help to Grow Management Course and with a ILM/City & Guilds “Change in the Workplace” certificate, Kev occupies a unique position in being able to find elements to contribute to improving an organisation’s operations and delivery of its objectives and impact.
